Code of Conduct
- We uphold a moral practice of being respectful and courteous to everybody.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not countermand instructions or prescriptions given by a medical doctor.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not abuse or exploit a patient sexually, emotionally or in any other way whatsoever.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not discriminate on the grounds of gender, race, religion, political persuasion, sexual preference, age or disability.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will never guarantee, promise, claim or imply a cure.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not step beyond the bounds of decency by placing their hands directly on or near what are termed ‘sensitive areas’, such as genital areas or a woman’s breasts.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café must have an additional adult present when giving healing to a child under 16.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not give a medical or any other form of diagnosis to a patient. Diagnosis is the responsibility of the Medical Doctor.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not advise or recommend that a patient undergo a particular form of treatment (like an operation or course of drugs) or interfere with the medical advice or treatment which the patient is receiving.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not counsel that someone is about to die or has a terminal disease.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not predict a death or an accident.
- Practitioners working within The Psychic Café will not prescribe or diagnose.
Disclaimer and for your Information
- Refreshments prepared and offered from our kitchen are a mixture of store brought and home-made items.
- The Psychic Café and practitioners are separate entities, individually and legally responsible for their own actions.
